August 11th 2009, New York, NY – Last night Multi-platinum selling Latin music star, Frankie Negrón took the stage in front of a packed house at New York City's Joe's Pub for an intimate live performance previewing songs from "Independence Day", his debut English language album on Airgo Music, in stores September 22, 2009.
 
The set included his chart-topping new singles "Holding On to Love", (recently performed on ABC's "One Life To Live") and "Torn". Negron also treated fans to a sultry acoustic rendition of his classic hit “Comerte a Beso” from his Grammy-nominated Salsa catalogue.
 
The album "Independence Day" is a composite of Frankie's natural romanticism and emotionally charged vocal performances, infusing a salsa influence with pop and rock.
