For her Super Bowl press conference, Beyonce sang the national anthem LIVE to prove that she has the POWER to sing it LIVE and BEAUTIFULLY!
And then she DROPPED IT!
She confirmed that she DID lip-synch during the Presidential Inauguration, saying:
“I am a perfectionist. I practice til my feet bleed, but I did not have time to rehearse. It was a live show, a very emotional show, and due to not having the proper sound-check I did not feel comfortable to take a risk. It was about the president of the United States, so I decided to sing along with a pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry and I’m very proud of my performance.”
