Rihanna was allegedly caught by photographers blazin’ up in Hawaii earlier this week and now she’s seemingly owned it on Twitter, writing, “kush rolled, glass full…I prefer the better things.”
But for those worried Ri-Ri is headed to jail, fret not — according to Hawaii’s marijuana laws she can smoke ’em if she’s got ’em. In 2008, a ballot was passed in Hawaii that made smoking a blunt the lowest priority for law enforcement. Because of this code, anyone over the age of 21 can possess up to 24 plants or 24 ounces of marijuana on a private property. In public, the possession of less than one ounce is classed as a misdemeanor which results up to a $1,000 fine and 30 days in jail. One ounce or more can result up to a $2,000 fine and up to one year in prison.
That being said, we’re sure Ri Ri is just smokin’ a funky handrolled tobacco ciggy. Wink Wink.
