Simon Cowell is set to launch a new talent show which will search for “the world’s greatest DJs”.
Cowell’s production company Syco Entertainment say they’ve been working on the TV format for over a year.
The show will be produced by Syco, Sony Pictures Television and Overbrook Entertainment – the company owned by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
The programme “will capture the incredible rise of the DJ phenomena”, the companies said in a statement.
Simon Cowell said: “DJs are the new rock stars, it feels like the right time to make this show.”
