Eli Manning, quarterback for the Super Bowl-winning New York Giants, will host “Saturday Night Live” on May 5, with musical guest Rihanna. The news was announced during last Saturday’s episode.
The athlete has never hosted “SNL” before, although he made a brief cameo during his brother Peyton’s well-received 2007 hosting appearance. Rihanna has been the show’s musical guest twice, each time appearing in popular “Shy Ronnie” Digital Shorts with Andy Samberg.
