Using social media, the duo is joining celebrities like Edward Norton, Sarah Silverman, Amanda Seyfried, Zac Efron, Ellen DeGeneres, Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill in a video that aims to raise awareness on the importance of voting in the upcoming presidential elections. The two and a half minute long Vote 4 Stuff video, which debuted on Monday, asks voters to post tweets, short videos and photos about the concerns they feel deserve presidential attention. “This is one of the most important elections of our lifetime,” said DiCaprio, whose production company, Appian Way, is behind Vote 4 Stuff. “We are using the power of social media throughout the Vote 4 Stuff campaign to incite bipartisan conversation around real issues, encourage registration and voting in November,” he added. Some of the concerns these stars expressed include jobs, marriage equality, climate change, foreign policy, reproductive rights, worker’s rights, teacher salaries, education and immigration. The R&B star was spotted sneaking out of ex-girlfriend Rihanna’s Manhattan hotel just before he picked up current girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, on Tuesday. Brown, 23, left the Gansevoort Park Hotel, where Rihanna is reportedly staying, in a black hoodie, sweatpants and camouflage hat. He was then photographed meeting Tran at another hotel. Around the same time, a smiling Rihanna, 24, was snapped heading from her hotel to a recording studio in SoHo. Late Tuesday, Tran hinted at turmoil on Twitter. “Remember, I said I prefer men,” the 23-year-old wrote, fueling rumors of relationship trouble between her and Brown. The hot-headed singer, arrested in 2009 for brutally beating then-girlfriend Rihanna, was also spotted with his ex Monday night at Meatpacking District nightclub. But did you know that there are a handful of “Street Parties” leading up to the big event? For the 10th straight year, the Latin Recording Academy and Eventus are kicking off a series of live shows to help usher in awards season. This past Sunday the first “Party” took place in Chicago and featured lively jams from El Coyote. Future stops include California., Texas, and Florida, with names like Alejandra Guzman and Lupillo Rivera on the roster. “It seems incredible that 10 years have gone by since that first Street Party in Miami back in 2003,” Eventus CEO Nelson Albareda said. “We are very proud to have helped ignite Latin Grammy fever around the country.” And you can bet that “the fever” is in full swing. In the footage, obtained by TMZ, Nicki is clearly furious … shouting, “I told them I’m not f*ckin’ putting up with her f**kin’ highness over there.” Mariah can be heard saying, ““Oh why, WHYYYY .do I have a three year old sitting around me?” Carey continues, “I can’t see my kids, because you decided to act like a little crazy bitch and go all around the stage.” Sources say Nicki later threatened to “knock out” Mariah … but she said it before the video starts.
