Jennifer Lopez Falls From Top Spot On Forbes List via @ajelkallejero

Jennifer Lopez has lost the top spot on Forbes magazine’s annual list of the most powerful celebrities.

This year, Oprah reclaimed the #1 spot on the list from Lopez, who dropped down to No. 12.

Despite pulling in $45 million last year thanks to a world concert tour and endorsement deals, Forbes said Lopez “doesn’t carry the same buzz as a year ago” when she was a judge on “American Idol.”

However, among her fellow Latinos on the list, Lopez still reigns supreme.

The next two highest-ranked Latino are soccer stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. While Messi may beat him on the field, Ronaldo won this match, coming in at No. 31 on the Forbes list while the Barcelona star came in at 39.

Another athlete, tennis star Rafael Nadal, made the list in the 51st slot.

Colombian comedic goddess Sofia Vergara came in not too far behind Nadal, No. 54. The star of “Modern Family,” Vergara is one of the highest-paid actresses on television.

The final Latina to make the list was Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bunchden, who ranked No. 81.

And the last Latino on the list? Comedian George Lopez, who was No. 93. Lopez was the only male who was not an athlete to make the list.

Unlike other lists created by Forbes, the annual Celebrity 100 is based on more than just earnings or net worth. Instead, the list looks at multiple different factors to try and measure the elusive fame factor.

To create the list, Forbes took into account a celebrities’ social media clout as well as how much money they put in the bank.
