The world may yet see photographs — and even video — of a dead Osama Bin Laden.
The conservative group Judicial Watch has sued for release of the materials under Freedom of Information Law.
Former Justice Department privacy official Dan Metcalfe told the Website that a government brief in the case effectively concedes “portions of the records that are legally required to be disclosed.”
That could mean redacting portions of the images that show U.S. military personnel or technology, but not the slain terror leader, according to the report.
The CIA has argued that such a disclosure would “trigger violence” around the globe, Wired.com reported.
After offing the terror leader in Pakistan last May with a “double tap” of gunshots to the torso and head, Navy SEALs snapped pictures of his corpse to show they got their man.
Do you want to see his remains? Dont you think its morbid to see it? Do you want proof he is dead? Why or Why not?
