It looks like Ricky Martin will have a nice chunk of pocket change for his holiday shopping. The Puerto Rican pop star just made a cool $12.8 million from the sale of his massive Miami mansion.
Ricky’s luxury estate was probably worth every penny. The two-story casa sports five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a movie theater and 108 feet of private beach space.
And the new buyer will have a bunch of celebrity neighbors to boot. Martin’s mansion is situated in the trendy Biscayne Bay region of Miami, near the residences of Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and former Bee Gee Barry Gibb.
So what made Ricky want to scoot out of town? Apparently after spending several months performing in Evita, he’s started to grow fond of the New York lifestyle. Though we’re sure Miami hasn’t heard the last of Mr. Martin.
