Shakira may be preparing for her court battle with ex-boyfriend Antonio de la Rua, who sued the superstar for $100 million, but The Voice judge also has some legal woes with two former employees. Divier Hernández and Maritza de Avila claim that the Colombian pop star never paid them for hours worked, owed them backed payments, and fired them for no reason.
According to Fox News Latino, the former employees were shopping around an alleged 15-minute sex tape showing Shakira and her boyfriend Gerard Pique in action. A talent agent, who claims to have seen the film, told a Spanish publication, “It’s filmed with a cell phone, which I guess, belonged to Shakira’s employee who was at the helm of the boat that night,” he adds, “You can also see some drinks around, and then they start caressing each other in a playful way, sort of romantic. From there on, let’s just say things get out of hand.”
A judge in Barcelona ended up dismissing the case, but ordered the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer to pay the workers $264,000. No sex tape has been released.
