Listen up DWTS fans! William Levy is returning to the dance floor for his new upcoming feature film, Salsa. The Cuban heartthrob will be partnering up with Jada Pinkett-Smith, who will produce and star in the movie about a woman at a turning point in her life who meets a salsa teacher and begins to love life again. We would too if we met Levy at salsa class!
When it comes to playing “Latin lover” characters, the father-of-two told us in his June/July 2013 cover story, “Maybe in the future I’ll do something different, but for now I love showing Hollywood this side of Latin culture. We’re not just one way. Some of us speak like this. We like to have fun, we can be romantic and we can be naughty.”
Levy also recently completed two films, Addicted and Tyler Perry’s Single Moms Club, which will both be released later this year. He is currently filming a new telenovela for Univison titled, La Tempestad. The new Spanish-language series will premiere in June.
